I completed my general and specialized practicum placements in a combined setting within Kelisko Consulting Ltd., a private practice and in Rocky View School Division.
Within the private practice, I worked to refine and cultivate my counselling skills, supporting individuals presenting with a range of issues including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationship/interpersonal challenges, and life satisfaction. Under the guidance and supervision of Cheryl Placsko, R.Psych. I was able to hone my clinical skills, strengthen my use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), deepen my understanding of the counselling process, and reflect on my personal growth.

My experience within Rocky View School Division allowed me to facilitate a psychoeducational assessment, using the following assessment tools with a grade 5 student, under the supervision of Michelle Deen and of Chris Pawluk:
Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V)
Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-III)
Behavior Assessment System for Children (BASC-III)
Conners Comprehensive Behaviour Rating Scales (CBRS)
Within this role, I co-facilitated a CONNECT© Group, an attachment based program for parents and caregivers. This group enabled me to become a certified facilitator, under the supervision of Melissa Jay, Ph.D., R.Psych CONNECT© Supervisor.
